This Act, consisting of 21 articles, provides for regulating the holding of land by aliens and companies under alien control. The Act concerns: forfeiture of land and mortgage held by unlicensed alien; license to hold land and mortgage; annual general licence to hold mortgage; definition of companies under alien control; transmission and registration of licence by company; restriction on the issuance of share warrants and debentures, and on trusts in favour of aliens; licence to hold property in trust; fees; procedural matters.
