Certificate shall be intended certificate of origin of goods form ST-1, which is a document issued by an authorized body and certifying the origin of goods. Electronic system of certification of origin of goods (ESCOG) shall be intended an information system of the central authorized body, including information on certificates issued by authorized bodies of the states of the Parties. The subject of this Agreement is the organization of information interaction using the ESCOG between the central customs authorities of the importing country and the central authorized bodies of the exporting country to confirm the origin of goods in order to simplify the procedure and reduce the time frame for customs control when importing goods. The composition of the information transferred is determined in the Appendix to this Agreement. The information received within the framework of information interaction is used by the customs authorities of the importing country when checking the facts of issuance of certificates and the compliance of the information contained in the certificates with the information provided during the customs declaration of goods, without the need to submit original certificates on paper. The transfer by the customs authority of the importing country of information received within the framework of information interaction to any third party may be carried out only with the expressed written consent of the central authorized body of the exporting country.
This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period and shall terminate upon the expiration of six months from the date of receipt by one Party through diplomatic channels of written notification from the other Party of its intention to terminate this Agreement.
