This Protocol sets out a framework for co-operation in the field of agro-based industries between Turkey and Pakistan. The contracting parties agree upon exchanging technical knowledge, research results in agricultural studies and other scientific documents and experts, setting up joint meetings, seminars and study programs. The contracting parties further agree to encourage private sectors of their own countries to invest in agriculture and to establish a committee to ensure the continuity of the co-operation activities. The committee will be composed of 4 members from each country and will meet in a yearly basis in Turkey and Pakistan. The Protocol is valid for five years with termination rights requiring six months notice may and may be extended automatically for another five years.
