These include the obligation for state and local government leaders to provide equal access to public service based on abilities and qualifications, the right for individuals to request written justifications for lack of promotion or training, and the establishment of mechanisms for monitoring compliance with gender equality laws. It emphasizes the role of civil society in developing and implementing gender policies and encourages the participation of organizations in supporting candidates who advocate for gender equality. Implementation of this Law requires government bodies to align their regulations with the new legal framework within three months of its enactment. The document mandates annual reporting on the execution of gender equality measures and the establishment of monitoring mechanisms to track compliance. Secondary themes include the need for public awareness and educational initiatives regarding gender issues, the coordination of local government actions with state policies, and the involvement of civil society organizations in promoting gender equality initiatives. This Law contains 7 Chapters divided into 35 Articles. Chapter 1 lays down general provisions. Chapter 2 establishes guarantees of gender equality in government and public and municipal service. Chapter 3 establishes guarantees of gender equality in economic and social relations. Chapter 4 establishes gender equality in labour relations. Chapter 5 introduces gender equality enforcement mechanism. Chapter 6 establishes guarantees for the implementation of the provisions of this Law. Chapter 7 lays down conclusive provisions.
