This Policy is drafted to ensure Pakistan citizen's safety, security, dignity, and prosperity. For having economic security, the Policy relies on using the domestic and local potentials along with the international opportunities, export and investment. Implementation of this Policy is arranged through promoting harmony among national values and ethnic, religious, cultural and linguistic diversity. In Chapter IV the text provides for energy security, trade and investment, education, and fiscal management for securing the future economy. In section VIII the Policy describes the human security and provides for health security, climate and water stress, food security, and gender security. The Policy is designed in 8 Chapters and provides for national security framework, national cohesion, securing economic future, defence and territorial integrity, internal security, foreign policy in a changing world, and human security. For each section, the opportunities, challenges and Policy guidelines are described.
