The Conference of the Parties

1. Welcomes the concluded mutual observership between the Danube River Protection Convention and the Carpathian Convention;

2. Welcomes the adoption of the Tisza River Basin Memorandum of Understanding "Strenghtening of Tisza River Basin cooperation", (Uzhgorod, 11 April 2011);

3. And welcomes the Joint Declaration between the Danube River Protection Convention and the Carpathian Convention supporting the sustainable development of the Carpathians and Tisza River Basin adopted in Uzhgorod on 11 April 2011, and encourages enhanced joint programming with International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River.
