This Decision, aiming at protecting and improving the living environment and ecological environment in Hainan province, provides for the restrictions on plastic products, which include: (1) banning the new projects producing disposable and not-degradable plastic tableware, thin plastic bags, plastic shoes; (2) prohibiting the sales of disposable and not-degradable plastic tableware without recycling logos approved by the provincial environmental protection competent authority; (3)Prohibiting the sale and use of the plastic bags with the thickness under 0.025 mm (including 0.025 mm).
Industrial and commercial administrative departments and competent authorities in charge of consumer goods and production capital goods markets must strengthen the supervision and inspection on the sale and use of plastic bags.
