Section 1 provides for the participation in fishing for capelin with floating trawl with small meshes inside of a 12 nautical miles zone measured from the baseline. Section 2 provides for the participation in fishing for herring, blue whiting, and "skolest" with beam trawl with small meshes inside an area between 4 and 12 nautical miles measured from the baseline. Section 3 regulates the access to fishing by various fishing groups with beam trawl with large meshes in the inside of a 12 nautical miles zone measured from the baseline. Fishing with beam trawl during the whole year in the same area is regulated in section 4 whereas section 5 provides for access to fishing with beam trawl during specified periods of the year.
