This Decree applies to fishing with drift nets for mackerel north of Hordaland in the Norwegian Economic Zone in the periods from 1 April until 15 August of each year. Section 2 requires vessels to notify the Fisheries Chief of the district in which fishing is carried out. Included in the information which shall be reported to the Fisheries Chief shall be the mesh-size of the nets which are used. Infringement of these provisions shall be punished in accordance with section 53 of the Marine Fisheries Act. (4 sections)
