This Legislative Decree amends certain provisions of the Code on the Environment concerning fuels for maritime use. In particular, it amends several articles laid down in Title III, Part V as well as Annex X of Part V of the Code concerning liquid fuels used in the maritime sector. The amendments are laid down in accordance with European Community Directive 2005/33/EC, which amends Directive 1999/32/EC relating to a reduction in the sulphur content of fuels for maritime use.
