This Order establishes the modalities of formation and keeping databases for identification of livestock and issuance of certificates therefrom. The aforesaid database shall be integral part of veterinary registration of livestock envisaging multilevel registration of data related to marking of animal, data related to the owner thereof and research diagnostic criteria performed by local branch of the authorized state veterinary institution. Database shall be destined for: (a) common principles of identification of livestock; (b) supervision over movement of livestock on the national territory; (c) reliability of antiepizootic, veterinary and preventive arrangements; (d) reinforcement of control over veterinary and sanitary state, quality and origin of animal products; and (e) provision of state bodies with the information on livestock.
