The present Regulations amend the Waste Management (End of Life Vehicles) Regulations by replacing Schedule 3, which specifies the components and materials which are exempt from the prescription of regulation 4, according to which materials and components of vehicles put on the market after the date of entry into force of the principal Regulations may not contain lead, mercury, cadmium or hexavalent chromium.
