The Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan give attention on the development and strengthening of relations in the field of tourism in order to expand and promote mutual knowledge about the history and culture of the peoples of Azerbaijan and Pakistan. The parties support cooperation between enterprises, organizations, institutions and bodies in the field of tourism of both countries. The areas of cooperation are, as follows: (i) to create conditions for the dissemination of tourism-related information in both countries; and (ii) to facilitate intensive cooperation between their tourism organizations and agencies in order to develop new tourism routes and develop bilateral tourism relations. The Parties may make amendments to this Agreement by mutual consent. The disagreement may be solved through negotiation and consultations. This Agreement shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive period of five years unless terminated by written notice requiring six months through diplomatic channels.
