An Act to amend the Wildlife Protection and Management Act 1998 to comply with obligations imposed under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (CITES). The amendments are related to the CITES management authorities and scientific authorities and the requirements for trade in CITES specimens (general prohibition on trade, permits and certificates, requirements for trade in CITES specimens).
