Implementation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Regulations, 2019 (Legal Notice No. 50)

These regulations, under the Wildlife Conservation Act, implement the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in Zanzibar.  The regulations include sections on management and scientific authorities; control of trade in species listed in the CITES appendices; general conditions for the issuance of permits and certificates; exemptions; and the export of live specimens.
