The Open-ended Working Group

1. Welcomes the progress made by the expert working group on the review of annexes;

2. Invites Parties and observers to provide, by 31 August 2026, comments on which draft recommendations on the review of Annexes I and III to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal should be prioritized for further discussion by the expert working group on the review of annexes to close gaps in the control of transboundary movements of hazardous waste and/or clarify existing entries, and to provide supporting information for including the proposed changes;
