Decision directed to Parties

Parties are invited to: 

a) when developing non-detriment findings for CITES-listed rosewood tree species, consider using as a baseline reference the “Report on the conservation and trade of CITES-listed rosewood tree species [Leguminosae (Fabaceae)]” and its factsheets, in conjunction with the Module on NDFs for tree species of the CITES Non-Detriment Findings Guidance (CITES Secretariat, 2024); and 

b) provide feedback and information to the Secretariat in support of its implementation of Decision 20.233.
