The Open-ended Working Group

1. Welcomes the contributions made by China and Uruguay and by the European Union, as co-leads, and by the small intersessional working group established pursuant to paragraph 6 of decision BC-15/11, in preparing draft updated technical guidelines on the environmentally sound management of waste lead-acid batteries and draft technical guidelines on the environmentally sound management of other waste batteries;
