- Elects Ms Véra Lacoeuilhe (Saint Lucia) as Chairperson of the 1st extraordinary session of the General Assembly;
- Elects Dr James Wakibara (United Republic of Tanzania) as Rapporteur of the 1st extraordinary session of the General Assembly;
- Elects Nepal and Palestine as Vice-Chairpersons of the 1st extraordinary session of the General Assembly.
