Belgium ratified the Convention in May 2006, and then the implementation plan was drawn up by the Federal Public Service Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment and by the competent authorities of the Regions. The plan will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis and in a manner to be specified by a decision of the Conference of the Parties; in the meantime it will serve as guideline for the management of all that is mentioned within.
