This Regulation here prescribes the implementation of the granting of State aid for damage caused by protected animals on carp ponds in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/2473 of 14 December 2022 declaring certain categories of aid to undertakings engaged in the production, processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products. The object of the aid is to remedy the damage caused by various species of birds and other animals on carp ponds. Eligibility requirements are laid down in Chapter II (articles 5 and 6). The Annex contains the formula which is used as criteria for the calculation of support.
