The accused has captured a baby chimpanzee during a hunting party in order to sell it. The accused and his accomplice were arrested.

The Guinean State joined a civil action to the proceedings: because of the misconduct of certain individuals this State has been classified among the countries which practice the illegal trade of species listed in the CITES appendices.
