This Act amends the Environment Protection Act so as to adjust rules relative to a system of trading in nitrogen emission rights with the aim of reduction of emission of nitrogen oxide into the air. The adjustments are also made in the light of Directive 2006/11/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on pollution caused by certain dangerous substances discharged into the aquatic environment of the Community.
