This Directive lays down implementing measures concerning the supervision and monitoring of suppliers and their establishments, other than those whose activity is confined to the placing on the market of propagating material and fruit plants, in cases where the checks are carried out by the suppliers themselves or an accredited supplier. The responsible official body shall carry out regularly, at least once a year at an appropriate time, supervision and monitoring of suppliers and their establishments.
