This Decree contains the lists of the species of livestock, bees, fishes, plants, grape and foodstuffs that are permitted in organic farming. Detailed requirements for the keeping of and nutrition of livestock are given in the text. All issues related to the treatment and reproduction of various species of livestock shall be supervised by veterinarians or be in compliance with specific legal rules of this Decree. The 17 Annexes contain detailed requirements for certification, labelling, registration, transportation, storage and record keeping.
