The purpose of this Regulation is to determine the procedures and principles to control exhaust gas emission due to motor vechiles, to reduce the effects of exhaust gas emission and to protect human health, animals and environment from the negative effects of exhaust emission.

The provisions of this Regulation are governed by the Minister of Environment and Forestry.The permits given before this Regulation are valid for 3 years after this Regulation enters into force.The diesel engined vechiles registered before 1980 are exempted from the the provision of the second paragraph of article 7.
