The Act comprehensively regulates public health measures, including epidemic risk management, radiation protection, asbestos handling, and resort-based health tourism. It details procedures for mandatory testing, isolation, and quarantine during epidemics, and outlines the responsibilities of health authorities in emergency situations. It also addresses environmental health, tobacco and alcohol regulation, and the management of infectious diseases. Patient rights are clearly defined, including access to medical records, informed consent, and protections for vulnerable groups such as minors and individuals with mental disorders. The Act further governs medical services for both citizens and long-term residents, including emergency care, immunizations, and specialized treatments.
This Law provides for the preservation of the health of citizens by ensuring a healthy living environment, providing accessible and qualitative health care, providing special health protection of children, etc.
