The provisions of this Regulation are prescribed and implemented in order to determine dangerous and possibly dangerous dogs, and also provides various measures and standards necessary for the safe handling and problem solving when treating harmful or potentially dangerous dogs on the territory of the Croatian Republic.
The import and temporary stay in the Republic of Croatia of potentially dangerous dogs called bull terrier (type) that are not entered in the register of the International Kennel Club (FCI) (pit bull terriers) and their hybrids is also prohibited by this Regulation.
