This Regulation aims at protecting environment and human health against air pollution. Furthermore this Regulation sets forth provisions on exhaust emission measurement and Exhaust Emissions Test Station. This Regulation has been drafted in line with the Annex-II of the Directive 2009/40/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 May 2009 on roadworthiness tests for motor vehicles and their trailers.
