This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 24 articles, lays down control measures to be taken in case of the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease of any type of virus and preventive measures aimed at improving disease awareness and preparedness of the competent authorities and the farming community for foot-and-mouse disease. Notification of any occurrence or suspicion of foot-and-mouth disease is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law governing veterinary medicine and regulations governing infectious diseases of animals. This Regulation is composed of 80 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Control of outbreaks of foot-and-mouse disease (Sec. 2); Preventive measures (Sec. 3).
