This Regulation prescribes all necessary standards and rules for the protection of chickens kept for meat production.
This Regulation shall apply only to chickens kept for meat production and on the territory of the Croatian Republic.
The Provisions of this Regulation will not apply to: a) holdings with less than 500 chickens; b) holdings with only breeding stocks of chickens; c) hatcheries; d) extensive indoor and free range chickens; e) organically reared chickens.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
