This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of nine articles, lays down detailed measures to prevent the introduction and spread of harmful organisms Epitrix cucumeris (Harris), Epitrix similaris (Gentner), Epitrix subcrinita (Lec.) and Epitrix tuberis (Gentner), including: (a) method to control and prevent the spread; (b) method of determining areas where measures should be applied in order to control or prevent the spread; (c) conditions of production, marketing and movement of plants susceptible to infection by these harmful organisms. The present Regulation establishes also special requirements for plants susceptible to infection, together with an indication of requirements that should be included in the phytosanitary certificate if plants are introduced on Polish territory or moved through this territory from a third country.
