This Regulation aims at ensuring an efficient waste management in each and every phase from their formation to their disposal. To this end the Regulation sets forth provisions regarding the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste. The Regulation covers electronic items, packages, vehicles, batteries and battery products. It does not cover gas emissions, radioactive waste, waste, available explosives and waste in the state, contaminated soil and the animal cadavers and manure used for agricultural purposes.

The provisions of this Regulation are governed by the Minister of Environment and Urbanization.
