The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy. The Ordinance applies to the: 1) description, categorization and classification of waters; 2) determination of standard references; 2) compilation arrangement and assessment of the pollution and effects on waters; 3) monitoring of the state of waters, and their classification and description. The text consists of 13 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Surface waters (2); Groundwater (3); Economic analysis, final provisions (4). Thirteen Annexes are enclosed.
