This Decree establishes a detailed administrative framework for the registration and oversight of agricultural primary producers, family holdings, and family agricultural companies.
It requires documentation of land assets, specifying location, size, and legal title, alongside livestock inventories that list species, housing area in square meters, and intended products, and it establishes standards for plant cultivation through the registration of species and land cultures, and regulates the processing and sale of farm products as supplementary activities, provided these do not exceed twenty-five percent of total revenue. By indexing tax-exempt thresholds to the annual minimum wage and authorizing the agricultural administration to verify production capacity against registered physical assets, the Regulation defines the operational framework for family farms, including provisions for generational transfer and pre-emptive land acquisition rights for members within the defined relative chain.
