The present Act introduces amendments to the Act on the entry into force and application of the provisions falling within the legislative competence in the agreement with Norway on fishing in the Tana River watercourse. The amendments concern the following issues: Agreement on deviations from the provisions of the fish Statute; Competent authorities according to the fish statute; Authority responsible for combating fish diseases; Working group for the management of salmon stocks in the Tana River; Preparation and approval of a management plan; Catch register; Arrangement of the sale of fishing permits; Permanent settlement in the river valleys of the Tana River watercourse; Pricing of fishing licenses; Basis for the use of fishing license revenue; Fishing permits for holders of fishing rights who are permanently resident elsewhere than in the river valleys of the Tana River basin; and boat registration for the Tana River.
