The main objective of this Act is to implement the Government’s policy on rationalizing government agencies and public spending. Specifically, it aims to integrate the functions of the Agricultural Chemicals Board into the Ministry, remove structural inefficiencies, and enhance service delivery effectiveness. Upon commencement of this Act, all assets, rights, and liabilities of the Agricultural Chemicals Board will transfer to the Ministry, and any ongoing legal proceedings will be handled by the Attorney General. Additionally, Board members and staff serving prior to the Act will receive terminal benefits as per their service terms. The text further provides for amendments and repealing of various sections of the Principal Act. The text contains 13 Articles.
