These Regulations, made by the Minister under section 35of the Consumer Protection (Price and Supplies Control) Act, provide for control of export of subsidised goods, particularly: flour including whole wheat flour, rice (excluding Luxury Rice), liquified petroleum gas for domestic consumption. The Regulations require an export permit to export any subsidised goods issued by the Mauritius Revenue Authority. The Regulations exclude certain categories of subsidised goods from the application of their provisions. The Regulations specify the sanctions in case of violation of its provisions or commission of crimes.
