This Act establishes provisions, which shall constitute the Penal Code. The Penal Code is divided into three Books: First Book concerns general provisions; Second Book focuses on crimes; Third Book covers offences. Relevant crimes include: unlawfully staying in an enclosed place located in a port, airport or railway yard for the distribution, storage or transshipment of goods; setting fire, causing an explosion, or a flood; destroying or intentionally damaging any work serving as a flood barrier, drainage, gas or water pipeline, or sewerage system; exposing people, animals, plants, or goods to ionising radiation, or contaminating people, animals, plants, goods, soil, water, or air with radioactive substances; destruction or obstruction of any public land or waterway; intentional and unlawful introduction of a substance into an establishment intended for the supply of drinking water with a risk of danger to the life; selling, offering for sale, delivering, or distributing goods, knowing that they are harmful to life or health; fraud and adulteration of foodstuffs, drinkables, or medicines; destruction and damaging of property; failing to restrain a dangerous animal during an attack against a person or another animal; special provisions concerning offences committed by youth and young people.
