This Decree regulates the specific conditions, criteria and method of granting incentives, as well as the deadlines and method of reporting on the use of incentives. Incentives, within the meaning of this text, are non-refundable funds allocated from the budget of the Republic of Serbia for the purpose of financing measures that will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions or the energy efficiency of industrial activities of incentive beneficiaries. Industrial activities are activities carried out in industrial plants and that include the production of energy, final products or semi-finished products within the framework of industrial production. Incentive funds are allocated to projects in areas in accordance with the share of these areas in total greenhouse gas emissions in the Republic of Serbia, with deviations from such allocation being permitted only in the event of insufficient availability of projects that meet the prescribed conditions and the required degree of readiness for implementation in individual areas, in accordance with the public call. Incentive funds under a public call are awarded in the amount determined by the public call, and up to the amount of funds planned by the Law on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for these purposes.
