This Decree of the Ministry of the Environment oestablishes binding criteria and methodological rules for identifying, defining, and evaluating wind‑energy acceleration zones in Slovakia. It specifies environmental, technical, spatial‑planning, and infrastructural parameters, including wind‑speed thresholds, exclusion layers (like Natura 2000, national parks, military zones), minimum noise distances, and requirements for grid connection. The present Decree also details procedures for environmental assessments, public participation, and final approval of wind‑energy zones.
