This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 15 articles and one Annex, establishes the conditions for the implementation of measures for afforestation of agricultural land, following the directly applicable regulations of the European Union and in accordance with the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union in the Czech Republic. Subsidies are provided as part of measures for afforestation of agricultural land to establish a forest stand, for the care of forest cover for a period of five calendar years or for the termination of agricultural production on forested land for a period of ten calendar years.
