This resolution adds two provisions regarding the standards for wastewater discharge into Iran’s seas (Persian Gulf, Omman Sea, Khazar Sea) and the permissible concentration limits for pollutant discharge into wetlands and receiving waters, as stipulated in the bylaw on the prevention of irreversible degradation and pollution of wetlands.
