This Regulation determines the rules as regards the falconry hunting method by providing issues on birds of prey that are used for hunting purposes, on authorized hunting grounds of the Republic of Croatia. This text further defines the programme falconer examination, sets out amounts and cost of such exam, and also defines the physical form and appearance of the official falconer card.
Falconry birds are different types of birds of prey used in falconry. Article 3 declares that only trained falconry birds lawfully acquired in the European Union or imported from third countries in accordance with regulations in the field of nature protection may be used for hunting purposes; (paragraph 2) “if so prescribed, falconry birds must be marked in accordance with regulations in the field of nature protection”.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing administrative request forms; declaration sheets; and samples of falconry license card).
