This Resolution, comprising 2 articles, amends Article 2 to establish that to obtain a grazing license in Kuwait, applicants must meet the following conditions (i) be a Kuwaiti citizen; (ii) be at least 21 years old; (iii) provide a certificate of good conduct; (iv) own a minimum of 50 sheep/goats or 5 camels/cows; (v) pay a deposit of KWD 100; (vi) pay a license fee of KWD 5. Temporary grazing licenses in Kuwait allow for specific facilities under strict conditions (i) mobile enclosures: max 10 sq. meters per sheep, 25 sq. meters per camel; (ii) tent: max 5 m x 8 m; (iii) mobile prefabricated house: max 4 m x 12 m. The Resolution prohibits: (i) fences or earthworks; (ii) non-temporary facilities; (iii) setting up facilities near security, oil facilities, and nature reserves. Additionally, it is provided that (i) facilities require initial approval from Kuwait Municipality and the Authority; (ii) the Authority can request removal of facilities at any time; (iii) violations may lead to legal action and license revocation.
