This Resolution validates the Procedure for maintaining the State Register of pesticides and agrochemicals authorized for use in the national territory. The Resolution establishes the legal basis for the register and authorizes the transfer of registration functions to the Ministry of Economy.
The approved Procedure defines the State Register as an information and communication system integrated into the national environmental platform “EcoSystem,” providing collection, storage, processing, and public access to data on registered pesticides and agrochemicals. Access is granted through user electronic accounts following authentication, and the system ensures open, free, and continuous availability of reliable and comparable information. The Ministry of Economy acts as the holder and administrator of the register, while the state retains ownership of the system and its software, with funding provided through budgetary and other lawful sources.
The document sets detailed rules on the content and management of register entries, including mandatory data such as registration number, active substances, manufacturers, uses, application rates, and registration status. Information is entered by authorized officials based on registration decisions and may also be partially recorded in English. The Procedure outlines conditions for creating or updating entries, notification requirements to applicants, and the inclusion of labelling information in PDF format. It also regulates data protection, publication of open data, system operation (including maintenance interruptions), and guarantees free use of the register by all users.
