This Act provides for the amendment of the Special Economic Zone Act no. 17 of 2015 and redefines the meaning of Special Economic Zone as a multifunctional zone of approximately 500 acres, or any lesser acreage that leverages domestic and foreign direct investment in value added and export oriented manufacturing industries re-export, finance and services.
