This Act concerns tourism management and measures for its administration and enforcement. The Act provides for: issuance of the tourism operator licence; responsibilities of tourism operator; public liability insurance of tourism operators; designation of a Tourism Special Management Area to limit, restrict or prohibit tourism activities in the area, for: archaeological or historical purposes, cultural or spiritual relevance, or ecological importance and environmental protection; designation of licence administrators; powers of inspectors; evaluation of tourism activity, in order to specify if the tourism activity is being conducted in a manner that poses a risk to the safety of persons, property or the environment, or the equipment used in the conduction of the activity; offences and penalties.
