The National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) has already granted the MOH the go-ahead to use DDT for malaria control as far as the MOH uses it according to WHO Guidelines and put in place a Multi-sectoral Monitoring and Evaluation Task Force on DDT to ensure that DDT is used according to the Stockholm Convention and WHO Guidelines.
