Cooperation with the European Union

The Conference of the Parties

1. Calls upon the Parties to cooperate with European Union bodies in further promoting the  Carpathian region  within existing EU  macroregional strategies;
2.   Welcomes the idea of establishing inter-groups in the European Parliament dealing with Carpathian cooperation;
3. Invites the Parties to further solicit support from European Territorial Cooperation funds, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) cohesion funds, Norway grants, LIFE, European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument, Eastern Partnership, and Instrument for Pre- Accession Assistance, and requests the Secretariat to ensure coordination in project development and implementation.
